    What temp should I get if I check my snake with an IR Temp Gun - just curious.

    Sice they are coldblooded.. their body temp is going to depend on the enviroment temp.

    80-85F cool side, 90-95F warm side.
    So, if it's on it's warm side is should resemble the warm sides temp.

    I had mine read from 82- 94 depending on were they weer hiding when I sho tthem wwith the temp gun.

    the funny thingis oneof my younger ones thinks it food I guess they keep lunging at the gun when I takea tem pshot anyother time he mellow. I guess he thinks it smells like rodents.
