Issue with shed

Prada shed today. The humidy was at 65-70% the whole time but it was a horrid shed. All of her back was unshed and the top of her head. I soaked her and then used a rag and she has about...3 inches of shed from her head down her back. My question is since her eye caps are gone and most of her shed is gone, should I keep humidity up and hope she peels it off or should I just wait till her next shed? And also, she has a tupperware hide, a rock hide a little tree thing and a waterbowl, so does she need something to rub against this time?

Try soaking her in a tupperware container for about 30 minutes to an hour. It works better if you put a lot of paper towels in the water so the snake has something to slither through to help pull its shed skin off.

It looks like your snake has plenty to rub against so i don't think that's the problem. What kind of substrate are you keeping her on? I have found that sometimes, even if the ambient humidity is fine, if the substrate itself is too dry then it tends to dry the snake out as well.

Thats what I did to get all of it off except the littel bit that stills on her [well, with a wash cloth instead of paper towels]. Should I soak her again later or just wait and see if it comes off?

Odds are if the snake had trouble before, it's only going to be harder when there's just a tiny bit stuck on her head. I'd try soaking her again- make sure the soaking container has very few air holes, as the high humidity inside the container helps just as much as the water itself, since the snake will probably not be submerging its head much ;)

Are you certain that it's stuck shed, and not a case where the shed actually pulled off the "shine" of the scales underneath, leaving patchy looking areas? Doesn't hurt the animal, but sometimes people mistake that for stuck shed.

Nah, its definately skin. The skin was coming off, looked like regular shed and came off like it, so I'm guessing the bit thats left is stuck shed too, its just where her scales are ity bity and didn't get a good purchase on the cloth. I soaked her for only 30 minutes because I'd never done it before and was kinda scared. I think I'll do it again tomorrow to get the last bit off :)
