    Runts
Whats the smallest runt has anyone had?

I have one that is almost the size of a pinkie, but has some hair. When the rest are almost on solid food. It's ridiculous how this thing has survived so long yet grow so little.

I added him to a surrogate mother with pinkies so it can get milk. I've also have given him a glucose solution (water and sugar) a few times to try to help the little fella out when his milk band gets small.

I'll try to post some pictures and weigh them up so you can get a better idea. I would of added them now, but I'm in class right now. lol

The runt has finally opened his eyes..

I don't think the little dude got enough milk, but he's a survivor for sure.

First one I've seen like this small or anywhere close to this.

Yuck Runts are so gross looking, once I had a whole litter of runts in mice and they were about a month old before I put them all down. Normaly with Rat runts I put them down as soon as I see that they are not growing.

You should put that rat out of it's misery. . . It's obviously very sick. :(
Runts are sick, they're either starving, or have something else physically wrong with them, if those rats are brother and sister you should strongly consider putting the little guy down, he's clearly extremely sick and suffering. . .

I've had a couple dwarf runts, they are about half the size your showing, I fed them in short order...
