Feel Good Story of the Day
So as usual, I set off to drive my daughter to day care. Well, as we're driving down a fairly busy road, I see two fuzzballs running in the bike lane, no owner in sight. These little buggers were weaving in and out of my lane so when I got close to them I stopped...and they came to sniff at my car. Weird. I was perplexed and didn't really know what to do...so they walked off...and I drove on. I suddenly realized the implications of my decision of not doing anything and busted a U and went down the block that they turned on. Caught up to them and got out the car, whistled and clicked and the female ran right up to me to lick my hand. The male...not so much. He was really wary and just stood there. I put the girl in the car next to my daughter in the backseat, locked the doors and went to get him...to have him take off. So I chase the dog for a block until I lose sight of my car, so I go back to the car. This goes on for three more blocks...I pull up, chase, drive, chase, drive, chase until...I CAUGHT HIM. My daughter enjoyed the escort to daycare, and the owner got their dogs back ~20 mins after they lost them. Instant Karma upgrade awarded, and an owner reunited.

Heres a pic of the owner holding them after she got them back:

Damn fine thing of you to do.

I've lost a couple of dogs over the years and would really have appreciated someone like you stepping up.

    Well done.

Hehe thanks. If I had a dog I wish someone would do the same for me in a similar situation.

Snakes are easier that way...no danger of cars.

We had a Pekingese that we brought with us from Russia that we lost in 1993 because the city sprayed chemicals all over the place and he was chewing something out the grass...got sick and passed days later.
