The washers are just fender washers i drilled holes in ! Then nuts and bolts :) It was pretty easy and ya i wanted to be better safe then sorry . One thing i did notice i will have to cut the top and use the steel mesh it seems to be getting a little hot in the tub :(

You oughta run an eyelet through that washer from the outside to the inside, a threaded one. Then put a locking nut on it on the inside.
Do that on both sides and then run a small spring between the two that you can slide the water bottle in front of so that the spring holds it up against the tub.
Id just be afraid that the rats would chomp right through that zip tie and end up with no water.
Just a thought.
