    fun today
Mom had some outpatient surgery toda and I sat in the truck with my cell in lap while watching dvds. I get the call to com sign her out to take home and the first thing I get asked walking in the door So your the guy with al lthe snakes. and so the questions start coming from about half the staff onhand. I really got the wierd looks when I said yeah I have 23 snakes and most are rescues from were people get them and decide to get reid of them.

I was even asked why don't I either take them to the spca ( or release them ) I point out that I got most of thme thoug hthe spca ( the ones in Delaware don't deal with reptiles at all. ( from what I get if you drop one off they just kill it once you leave) I also pointed out I was a responsible keepr that won't turn one loose outside cause most of what I have are not native to this country. One person made the remark about they should bee left inthe wild if the people can't care fro them . I counter with Yes that true but then al lthe birds, cats, dogs ,fish and everything else should have been elft inthe wild too then. I think I am gonigo t startkeepnig soem pics of the snakes on my laptop to show people in the future ( sincei have with me on mom's doc appointments. :rolleye2:
