    Best pastel for firefly?
    Hello there all,
So after buying my fire and trying to plan my next two females to fill my rack, (pretty sure a female butter to go with my male Mojave is in the works) I'm trying to think which female pastel would go best into a firefly.

I know everyone looks for different things in a pastel, how about the firefly? In your opinions should I go for blushing in the pastel or the highest contrast I can find. Which "lines" do you think would go best?

I've seen the posts about what to look at for pastels to avoid browning out in a year or two, with fires adding the lightening affect is that a big concern with flies?

As usual any pics of the perfect female for fireflies are appreciated... I swear the multitude of pictures are why I keep coming back to this site!

    Thanks alot

I would select for lots of blushing with the brightest yellows. Lines really don't matter as long as you have a good looking individual.

You question is a good one, but it's still subjective. It comes down to this: What things in a Pastel do you like best? The Fire can amp up contrast, & brightness. Then look at the animals over lines, lines are too general. Each line has both blah & wow factor examples.

I personally like the Fireflies that are made with high blushing animals- they seem to glow! But the high contrast animals throw some amazing babies too! I'll put up a pic of the baby I'm getting in as soon as the breeder gets me an updated post-shed pic.

I bought my lemon pastel from sloan and she is absolutly perfect, they produce a very nice looking line and as you can tell also turn out to be amazing fireflys.
