Question for those who use snake racks

If you use snake racks, e.g. RBI or AP rack systems:

(1) Do you have a separate snake room with a higher temperature than the rest of the house? If so, what temperature is your snake room, or if not what is the typical ambient temperature of your house?

(2) How much flexwatt do you use per tub?

Sadly, I'm still trying to figure this out. My temp gun and my Acu-Rite tell me two different stories. So I want to know what ya'll are doing with your racks.

I use the Vision racks and i keep them in my basement. Its a finished basement and well insulated. I keep the room at 78 degrees with an oil filled radiant space heater. The vision racks dont come with the best heating cord or enough to propperly heat each tub. I bought 2 of the longest heat ropes that big apple sells. Now each tub has 1/4 of the bottom covered and it works perfectly.
To keep the humidity higher then normal i have a huge tub filled with water and a small fountain in my basement.

I use racks from RB. They have three inch flex watt. My collection is in my basement that I am in the process of finishing. The basement has base board heating for the winter months. In the summer I need to have a fan running the circulate the air. I do not have the room set to a specific temp. The rack hold their temp and humidity just fine for me. Actual the basement is warmer then upstairs. I guess that is from the racks. I use cypress mulch as a substrate and it holds the humidity very well.

The room is on the top floor, so even with a squirrel cage fan running to vent the rats, it's generally warmer than other areas in the house. Around 80F.

I use AP racks, which are heated by a single length of double-strand heavy duty heat cable.

I have bomaster, boaphile, ap and ars. I do have a snake room which all are kept but the room isnt heated. Im going to have to heat the room now though becasue I have an open rack system (ars) But with the other enclosed rack systems you shouldnt have a problem with your temps inside the rack. All my racks are heated with flexwatt except the ap and it has the heat cable. Im not a fan of the cable at all. And next time I order an ap rack i will get the flexwatt heating
