my dream snake is getting closer...now do i have this right?

we have a pair of het. albinos, and a pair of het piebalds. i want to make ALBINO PIEBALDS!

so i breed
het. Albino x het. Albino = Albino (hopefully)
het. Pied x het. Pied = Pied (hopefully)

CROSS MY FINGERS that i get a male albino and a female pied, or vice versa.

Albino x Pied = ALL normals, 100% het. Pied AND 100% het. Albino
Normal het. Albino & het. Pied x Normal het. Albino & het. Pied = Albino Piebald?

i know it's a very very VERY slim chance to get an albino piebald in that last pairing but if it takes a few shots, that's totally okay with me!

so did i get this right? i'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole genetic thing.

I think thats about right. not very very very slim chance really. i dont even know but i guess its probably a 1/16 chance since thats what most are.

And yeah, not such a slim chance.. It may not happen immediately, but it will happen if you try enough!

100% double het for Pied/Albino X 100% double het for Pied/Albino = 1:16 chance for Pied Albino.

and thanks everyone for the responses! but to me, 6.25% is a very slim chance! but i know it will happen one day, and i know we're a long, long ways away too. but what's the fun in getting everything immediately, right? growing up the snakes is the 2nd best part! (1st is when they pip, obviously!)

haha, EXACTLY!! my boyfriends favorite morph is the albino, and mine the piebald. PERFECT!!
