    Yet another missing snake thread...
I'm out of town and just got a text message from my roommate. Apparently, Makena's not in her tub. I fed her on Thursday and left Friday evening. She was still in the tub at that point, and all was well. Ugh. I'll be back in town tomorrow to look for her. Please everyone, wish me luck! I doubt she's strayed very far.

Did you find her yet? Think like a royal python, anywhere dark and tight fitting would be a good place to look. I have always found my escaped snakes in the same paper filled draw.

Yeah. I found her. She's wedged herself underneath the refrigerator. I tried in vain to pry her out with a fishing rod. A rat and a space heater are in the kitchen now; hopefully she realizes it's feeding day and gets a little active...

She's back in her tub, and it's secured. I ended up buying a live rat and placed it in a critter keeper next to the fridge. After an hour, I checked under the fridge and she wasn't there. The thing was, I wasn't sure if she was somehow inside the inner workings or if she'd left the area; the flour I'd placed around it didn't seem to be disturbed. I ripped the kitchen apart looking for her. It'd only been an hour; she's not that fast and couldn't have gone that far. I found her behind some cabinets and had to use a coat hanger to pry her out. All is well now.
