Question about Vermiculite/perilite???

Can anyone point me to a local place to buy either or both of these? I want to try not to buy online if I can help it. Does any plant or garden center carry either of these products?

got mine at home depot, meijer, and english gardens most decent places that have garden supplies should carry them

I find perilite at Walmart. Though being the end of the season might be tricky this time of year. Good Luck.

Home Depot and Lowes don't tend to carry Perlite that doesn't have Miracle Grow in it. I went to a smaller nursery chain local to me and bought four cubic feet of Perlite, and used that exclusively this season with great success. I do NOT use the substrateless method, so I mixed with water until just slighltly moist to the touch and would clump together when squeezed, but easily crumble.

I could never find any that didn't have Miracle Grow in it at my Walmart.

Interesting...my Wally World only carries small bags and it is just plain stuff. I think it is like $4.96 a bag (it has nothing in it)
