Bubblegum vs. Ivory - which one?
    Hi Everybody! :-)

I'm thinking back and forth and I can't decide what to pick so I would
therefore like to get some input from other people.

My collection consists of only recessives and I would therefore like to
add some other genes to my collection.

But if you were in my position which animal would you pick?

An Ivory or a Bubblegum female? Both of them are given to me for a
reasonable price which I will reveal after the deal has been done.

And of course some pictures. ;-)

I'm looking forward to hear what people has to say!

I say ivory unless the calico/bubblegum is high white

I go Calico. In my opinion, Ivories are somewhat limited in their potential. Once you've made Yellowbellies and more Ivories, then what? Calico combos are limitless. Of course if you just want a pretty snake, Ivories are a great pick! Good luck with your choice!

Probably not, since he's in Denmark and European prices are a little higher.

Well you need them for superstripes. Then there's pastel superstripes, super pastel superstripes, ghost superstripes, etc. But I suppose you can get all of those from just a yellow belly as well. But I would still say an ivory could be a powerful breeder.

But I agree that the calico combos are going to be pretty sick. The super pastel calico is just downright insane! Can't wait to get the other codoms, and some of the recessives in there as well.

Thanks folks - you've given me some great input! :gj:

I think that people generally think that both specimens looks gorgeous and a are pride to have in a collection. But if you're interested in creating breathtaking ball pythons then the Calico (Bubblegum) is the slighty better way to go. Is this presumption right?

They are both from 2009. The Ivory looks like great like any other of its fellow
Ivories. The Bubblegum will probably gain very high-white sides as she matures - she has a very large amount of pink on her sides. And she's a ringer too. ;)

I'll let you folks and other folks know what the outcome of my decision is on
    this Thursday.

I agree that the clico is the better way to go unless you have a superstripe hiding in one of your tubs! :D
