IM about to beat my burm up
This little evil joker is playing games with me. I think he is knocking his water bin over on purpose. Its a pain in the ass because i have to clean that whole section of his enclosure out so it wont mold. lol when he does it he sits in the corner and just looks at me and wiggles his tail-haha kind of cute to be honest.
But my question is, what kind of water bowls do you guys use with your larger snakes. My burm is about 8 feet and i have a LARGE kitty litter box that is just big enough for him to get in if he wants to soak. I've though about putting a weight on the bottom of it (30pounder) but i fear that it will rust and spoil his water.
Re: IM about to beat my burm up
Ive got some kind of dog bowls that have rounded bigger bottoms or something so there harder to tip over. You could probably built a little box around your bowl to keep it from flipping.

x 2, I built a box that holds enough water that my boy can soak if needed, easy, cheap fix that solves all your problems. Here's a few pics

Not sure how big Your enclosure is but...I use the small Concrete mixing tubs from Home Depot for My Retics.

I use 7qt oil drain pans for our bloods, haven't had one tip yet. You can pick them up at Advance Autoparts for about $3/each. They also make a great hide if you flip them over and cut an opening in the side. :gj:
