I always wanted to get a pet hedgehog, but I don't know anything about them... Are they laid back or do they try to bite? Do they settle down really good and all after you've had them for a bit?

they are all different some of them like the daddy and mommy huff and puff we call it "popping". The babies aren't as bad because we have handled them since day 1 ( I don't recomend doing that we had to because of a tub issue) so they are use to being held and the new one we just got Zelda doesn't pop at all really. I think they are great pets, they love to cuddle up with you and they all have great personalities.

The only time ours ever bit was Miss Piggy smelled something super yummy on my boyfriend and just wanted a little taste and it only hurt cause he was laying with her in bed and she bit his underarm. lol but other then that I clip toe nails and I have never had a problem with biting. Their mouths are pretty small to begin with.

I'm not sure if it's true or not but i've heard of some bad incidents with people petting them and them rolling up or w/e and doing some nice gashes.
