Another: is my snake a morph thread *sigh*
Just want opinions on if this girl of mine is a granite genetic, just happens to look kinda granitey, or is just a happenstance granite with no granite gene:

I've tried looking at tons of pics and I can't tell. She was sold to me as a hold back, no one claimed that it was genetic, it just popped out of someone's clutch and he held on to it to do the thing I am doing now I guess. She has those little dots and shattered type pattern all over. She is also mean as hell, usually hisses at me as soon as I enter the room lol.

I will be breeding her this season so I guess I'll know more then, but I'd like some opinions now, even though I am sure I hate these threads as much as everyone else hehe.

the only real way to tell if its genetic or not is by breeding it out.
i also have some granite ch animals that im about 50% sure both are genetic but i cant seel them as that unless i prove them out

My understanding is, genetic granite is co-dominant, so her first clutch should reveal something, and after the 2nd clutch, I think you can safely be sure one way or another.

She has the spot on her neck stripe, so it's worth a try.

Hate to say it, but if she just popped up randomly in a clutch from non-granite parents, in all likelihood she's just a pretty normal. Good luck with her, but I wouldn't expect anything but nice normal babies.

That's exactly the mentality I am going with when I breed her. Think she would be better bred with a yellow ghost or a mojo?
