All three of my snakes have had those, and one of them even had hers bleed at one point, but they're normal.
Well provided the "scar" is more of a slit between the scales instead of surgical incision. But I'm pretty sure that's where the snake is connected to the yolk when it's in the egg and when it's born it is still absorbing that.
Like a snakey belly button.

Yeah, it's probably just their belly button... unless it's gaping open and bleeding, that is perfectly normal! ;)

Belly button - fades with age. You can still see it on even my biggest girls if you look for it.

So then, I shouldn't have stapled my snakes slit back together?
I suppose the superglue was overkill?
And the duct tape, I guess that was unnecessary as well....
