    just wondering if you have a low contrast male albino can he produce a high contrast hatchling with a 100% het female???

    Just like low pied can produce high pied.

    But you might have more probability of producing low contrast than high contrast. The genetic behind the low and high contrast is not know so far. Just like with the pieds.

    If the het's line is light it should help. There are lines known for producing high contrast & it is fairly easy to get consistent results within a breeding pair.

    It is also known that the lower contrast snakes seem to occur more often when a breeder is working on a Snow project. NERD even has a line of Albinos called Faded... these have the lightest of contrast and are quite lovely.

    You'll have a better idea what to expect from your two once you breed them & can adjust from there.
