A few Illinois Native animals
We have a place in Peoria Illinois that has animals that are native to Illinois. They are all able to roam in there own roomy enclosures unlike those in zoos. Its called Wildlife Prarie Park and this is some of those animals i saw this past weekend. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...12-2009027.jpg, http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...12-2009014.jpg, http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...12-2009022.jpg, http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...12-2009029.jpg.

Aha, a pet owl. Those things rock, I was going to get one as a pet then I looked them up, trying to learn about them, then I decided over my dead body. They make mating sounds like 8 months out of the year. You have to feed them meat which they will hide sometimes and you find it when it starts to stink. Other then those 2 things, it would own to have them as a pet, oh and if you don't hoot with them, they hoot at you.
Nice pictures btw.
When I seen your picture of the eagles that made me wonder. I'm curious if you can own an eagle as a pet? Not the bald eagle, but other eagle species? If so where on earth would you even find one at, google had no insight on this.
