Super Dwarf retics any info???
Well I have been thinking lately about a super dwarf I would probably get just a normal tic, no tigers, or binos or anything like that. I love normal tic patterns. Well I have been having a difficult time finding reliable info on them, regarding size, temperament, enclosure size etc. I would appreciate if anyone who has any experience with them would chime in. I saw a few threads where people have shown off their new ones so I know theres a few on here. Thanks in advance.
Re: Super Dwarf retics any info???
Size: 5'-7' is the adult size of females, and females get larger than males.
Temperament: Babies will be nippy. They're scared and think you're a predator. You will get bitten most likely. Better to get them accommodated to as babies and take the bites rather than taking the bite from an adult adults. Baby SD retics are smaller than baby ball pythons, so it's not going to hurt.
This is a hatchling SD retic

Enclosure size: I would recommend a 4' x 2' for an adult female and a great size for a male. But you could probably get away with a 3' x 2' with a male. But the bigger, the better.
