Pewter Het Pieds hatching!

We bred our Pied male to a Sterling female (picturedin our avatar), and got 7 eggs. Two eggs went bad during incubation. Of the remaining five, we got 3 Pewter Het Pieds and two Pastel Het Pieds. One of the Pastels is being stubborn, and hasn't crawled out yet. So far everyone out of the egg is a boy. We are keeping the one in the top of the photo with the big ringer mark. However, all of them have some ringer tendencies. Another one of those exciting clutches I have been waiting for. Enjoy the pic.

Nothing Beats what being a het pied does to a pewters looks :)

Thanks everyone. I have been eagerly awaiting these things to come out of the eggs. When I first cut the clutch, I though I had made a mistake and cut my Pewter to Pastel clutch. I thought I was looking at Sterlings in the eggs.

Thanks Aaron. I sure do have a big Pied girl, and a few big Het girls too.
