    Raleigh area BP nuts
Just doing a little check as a newer member of the forums to see who might be close to me. It would be cool to get to know some of you that are close by.

    I will start...

I live in the Knightdale area, and I have 9 Balls with no plans at this time to breed. I have been in to Reptiles in general forever, and in the last year now that my kids are older decided to get back into the hobby. After much research my wife and I decided to get into Bps.

I hope to hear from some of you and get to know who is in my back yard a little bit better.

I used to live in Raleigh, but I'm now 300 miles away in Asheville!

I'm actually in Raleigh. I go to State. I have two BPs and a Beardie. I plan to breed in the far away future, but right now Im enjoying laying on the sofa with one and letting them nap with me under the blankets ^-^

I live in N Raleigh. Currently the BF & I have 3 balls and a beardie with plans to breed in the next 2/3 years. I kept a ball years ago as a rescue but all my current ones are baby girls so here's hoping they put on some weight and stay healthy!

    Good idea btw :)

Nice to meet you all! Keep em coming.

Anyone local with some nice morphs?

One of my biggest motivations of getting back into the Hobby was son was petrified of a little rubber snake. As you see below we fixed that :D Having the love that I have for snakes I just couldn't have that.

Here is how we have come to acquire our babies.

My first 5 were normals and one yellowbelly that I got off of Craigslist, and seeing the conditions that they were kept in I was glad to take them in. I felt better about taking in ones that were in homes that couldn't keep them or no longer wanted them.

Boba Fett was a rescue from a friend of a friends kid.

Then I got the itch for some morphs. :taz:

General Grievous was bought from Fauna Classifieds from Kellysballs. It was my first online buying experience, and it could not have been better. Kelly was awesome, and General Grievous has been awesome.

Next Came Luminara Anduli (VPI Line female pastel) from the Raleigh Show in May. I got her from Ben Siegel and she is simply stunning. Another Great Pick up!

Last Came Obi Wan Kenobi at the most recent Reptile show on Labor Day weekend. I almost bought one of the two pastels that Ben had at this show (I know Rob picked up one and made a great choice), but one of the smaller vendors had a bigger male pastel that did not brown out as much as the ones Ben had.
