id like to first say this site is great.im very glad i found it while searching for bp information.as stated in a previous post i recently got a male bp from joe blow who had no time to care for him. i was told he was 9 months old, however my oldest daughter recently got a female bp from a local hobby breeder and she is 8 months old.from the information i have found females generally are larger than males.we have not yet had the snakes sexed to confirm gender, but my male is noticably larger than the female is there any way i can tell how old my male actually is.he came from a pet store not a breeder so for all i know he could be older.we plan on breeding them in a couple of years and will definatly have them sexed before hand,as soon as i can find a vet in our area skilled in reptiles.thanks for any and all information.

Maybe Joe Blow owned it for 9 months. It may be a few months older. Regardless, they should both be a good breeding size in a few years!
