question to any mod?

Am i allowed to put a link up to my photo section of my facebook page. I am really inept when it comes to fixing pics so that I can post them and this is just much easier. Please let me know if I am allowed to do this. Thank you for your time and assistance. Todd

You might run into problems with facebooks privacy settings and you wouldn't be able to hotlink the images (ie. have them show up as pictures in the thread ) you would have to use links.

Can't you use the tools on imageshack etc to fix the images? This forum will automatically restrict the size to 800 by 600 if that is the only problem.

You can put them in your gallery here - this tutorial is a bit old but the basic procedure is the same I think.

And here is another one in video form that might also help.

You can also use a site like http://photobucket.com/

They should also have tutorials to help you.

i think you would have to logout first and link it by copying the image location

I may not be understanding what you're trying to do... But if you're trying to link an individual photo from your Facebook you just need to right click the picture and select "View Photo" it will bring you to that photos page. Linking the photo's web address will allow you to show a photo without privacy setting issues.

If you're trying to put the photo right in your post then you will also use that link... like this:

Pretty sure that's right, and sorry if I have misunderstood what you're asking.

I actually wanted to link the entire album but that only works if someone is a member of facebook and willing to log on...To much work so that is not gonna work so I am currently uploading pics to photobucket and I will try again with that. Thanks for all your assistance everybody. Todd
