    What the heck
    KK hey guys

I went to pick up my little pinstripe today for the second time (my daughter had her out earlier) and as soon as i picked her up she tensed up and her vent looked like she was trying to void and she opened her mouth and gaged. We have not handled her in about a week as she just came through a shed and today was when i was checking her out post shed, everything good on that end eyecaps and full 1 peice shed. Haven' t tried to feed her just yet maybe she is stressed or something. She hasnt missed a meal for me yet.

Anyone had anything like this happen, and of so should i let her be for a day or 2 before i try and feed her. I have always feed my snakes in a seperate cage so i will be handleing before feeding.

your bp hates you, is all.

Just get gloves if you are afraid, and simply take him out and handle him a few days after feeding.

Do this often, no more than 10 minutes at a time, and he/she should get used to you soon.

I don't know. Doesn't sound aggressive at all. I'd keep an eye on her next feeding, of course, but if it doesn't happen again, maybe just one of those things, like a hiccup or a cough.
