BP feeding behavior

just curious how your guys's balls behave when fed

mine will kill it and then stare at you until you leave the room to eat it...lol stare at me for like 15 minutes with those beady lil eyes

all of mine could care less about what im doing once they get their rat. EVERY ONE strikes and coils hard and then they're pretty distracted. I've even moved a few animals while they're coiled constricting around their (already dead) dinners because i missed a gigantic puddle of urine in someone enclosure and wanted to clean. Doesn't phase em one bit. If i had a shyer animal i'd never do that though.

Most of them are usually looking for more after they finish though.. greedies!

My new baby prefers that I'm not watching, so I have to peek through the cardboard so I can see barely what is going on, since I feed live. Most bp's are shy one way or another, hopefully mine will get over it some day.

I agree with Cinder.

Tanveer strikes within seconds and then coils the hell of the f/t mouse LOL. He does when I give him his second one too LOL.

Plus he could care less if I'm watching or not. As a matter of fact, last night I decided to sit on the floor so I was eye-level with his tank. I got to watch the whole thing. It's fascinating everytime!

I feed f/t because he wouldn't take live (got him as a juve from a pet shop) but the weird thing is he wont strike and coil. I hold the mouse in front of his hide and he comes out, inspects it, sniffs it with his tongue, than he just looks at me. He won't eat it if I am touching it. He doesn't care if I stick around but I just have to put them on the ground or he won't touch it.

Also he always finishes the same way with his head straight up in the air to the top of the viv.

Mine always finishes the same way as well.

Mine will strike and kill it but he wants privacy when eating. Once he brought it behind the log in his cage so I couldn't see him eat it. The last feeding, he just stayed in his hide then struck it when it peeked in his hide then kileed it and ate it in his hide!
