    WOOHOO Ceasar finally ate!
Ceasar used to be a pig. Now that he is an adult he is an absolute pain. He will go a few weeks to a few months on feed and then stop... This time was around 6 or 7 weeks of no feeding. I know it's normal, but even after having bps for 4 years it drives me nuts! I mean come on, a 4ft snake should be more than around 1400g empty!

Today I couldn't take waiting until next week to try a feed so I offered a live medium female rat I didn't need to hold back. I was in the same room, but out of the line of sight so I didn't spook him. Several minutes of disappointing nothing passed and then I heard some clunking around and a screech (which was both sad to hear but good news for me and my snake).

I took him out once he finished (he tried to eat me too) and cleaned out his cage and put him back. He is now sleeping under the newspaper with a good size lump, looking like he may be going into shed :D

    Yes!

Congrats I'm happy for you and your bp. I hope he eats more often.
