    Size Comparison...
Earlier, I was reading through the "Are we feeding too much" thread and found it interesting because I have been wondering about my large male, and if I should cut his feeding down some. The problem is, I'm not even sure he is really overweight. Maybe just a big boy. I would appreciate it if those of you who have males in the 4 years old and up category could post their weights and lengths just so I can get a general comparison. Mine will be 5 y/o this winter. He weighs in at 2350g and was a solid 54" back in May. I'm sure he may be over that now. I need to get another overhead pic to run through the computer program and see where he is at currently... Thanks.

it's a program that you put on your computer. Take a photo of your snake with an object for size reference (I use a ruler) from directly above, looking straight down. Load the photo on your computer. Open the photo with the program. You use the cursor to place a dot on each end of the reference item and enter the length of it. Then you basically use your cursor to place a bunch of points down the snakes spine from nose tip to tail and the program will connect all the dots and tell you how long of a line it is. It is on my home computer and I don't really remember where I downloaded it from but it is way easier than using string or holding your snake down next to a tape measure. Let me search around and see if I can find out where I got it from...
