Question on out of country expo
So as far as I can tell the expo in Montreal is the closest one to me (about 2 and a half hours drive). If I went to this expo and picked up a new buddy would I be able to bring it back into the U.S.? Would there be a lot of red tape?

I am probably going to go any how because we've always wanted to visit Canada and I'd love to go to an expo regardless.

Re: Question on out of country expo
I've looked into this before as I wanted to purchase a snake out of country but I ran into a lot of problems. First you must get CITES paperwork for the snake(s) and can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks just to get approved. I believe it was $100 for the snake and then additional fees for more then one. All in all it is a LOT of hassle and I decided to buy locally. BUT, a lot of big name breeders can get CITES paperwork within a week and can ship the animal to you, of course, additional fees will be added onto the animal as well.

    I hope this helped. :)
