    Feeding the Babies??????
I recently got 2 baby BP one was hatched june 23 the other was hatched july 7th I have been feeding them one fuzzy mouse every 4 days and that just doesnt seem like enough because alot of what I read people are feeding rat pups to hatchlings. Am I ok or should I try something bigger i just dont see them eating a mouse

My bp hatched on july 12th and I feed him rat pups every 5 days! Mice are a small food item for a ball. When they get older you would have to feed them a couple adult mice each feeding and that can get expensive. Try rat pups before they get hooked on mice. May sure the rat is the same colour as the mice were. I just switched mine over to rats two weeks ago and had no problem! Good luck!

A fuzzy is the right size for a hatchling but as they get older you should start feeind medium mice...I have a bp that's a year & a half old I feed her 2 adult mice a feeding...

Yeah, start feeding larger prey items like hoppers.

Switch to rat fuzzys. Just when theyre getting the peach fuzz. I switched from hopper mice to these and my hatch's are really starting to grow. More nutrition in a comparable size rat.

Mice fuzzies are definitely too small for an hatchling, most average hatchling are started on hopper and quickly move to small adult and adult mice.

When starting hatchlings on rats they are usually started on rat crawler/small fuzzies, no one start their hatchlings on rat pups.

Feed a prey slightly equal to your BP's girth size.
