    *waves* Hey there!
It's amazing what a late night can seriously do *prods time-stamp*

Been a looong-time lurker--since the beginning of last year when I first became interested in BP's but didn't buy one until the reptile expo I went to this summer--one of the reasons I was actually afraid of own a BP was the issue of reading that many go on hunger-strikes, which scares me more than a pack of circus clowns, and that's saying something. I have a RO corn snake (reaching the 1.5 year old mark) who eats almost everything I put in front of him, so it was kind of daunting to pick up something that might potentially die from starvation which I'm sure is like the Worst Way To Die EVER.

But I took the plunge and got myself a male mojave, who, thankfully, also eats everything I put in front of him. He's quite feisty, and hisses at me everytime I handle him but that just makes him all the more adorable.

Alright, a bit about me--I'm just a college student going through a double major on Psychology and Business Management and trying to to go insane in the process. My family includes my momma, dad, younger sister (who goes to school with me), 3 dogs, 4 cats (strays we picked up as kittens,) 5 sugar gliders (these things breed like crazy!) and five birds (1 white cockatoo who had lead poisoning from the pet shop because it chipped off paint from it's cage, 1 salmon crested cockatoo who a breeder didn't want because it was more attached to people than it's own kind, 2 cockatiels who SOMEONE TOSSED INTO OUR BACKYARD, and a Blue and Gold Macaw who is my daddy's baby.)

And then there's my own babies, Hiko (meaning fire-child) my reverse okeetee corn snake, and Chiko (earth-child) my mojave.

Just thought I'd say "hi!" to the forum that taught me so much (like how to drool over those insanely amazing morphs) and hope that I'll learn even more than I already have in the future!

Oops, totally forgot about pics. I'm a mac fangirl so I took it with photobooth--somewhat blurry but until I find my camera charger I'll have to deal. Mojaves are SO pretty.

^_^;;; Somehow our household keeps increasing even though we try not to bring them home. My parents are way worse than I am, hence the birds and the dogs and the cats.

Yes, the suggies and the snakes are mine but the rest is theirs.

Heee, thanks for the warm welcome!
