You could change the substrate to Coconut Husk or Cypress Mulch because those substrates work pretty well this raising the humidity.

You can also add a humid hide to the enclosure if the humidity does not improve.

Do you have holes in the tub for ventilation? If so, use some masking tape and cover some of them (from the outside of the tub :) ) up until you reach the humidity you want.

You could also arrange a humid hide.

Wet down som eof the substrate directly over the hot spot. DO not saturate it or anything but by dampening it, it will cause it to evaporate which will increase the overall humidity. Todd

For the humid hide, all you would need to do is get a plastic container with a lid (Glad container?) that's large enough for the snake to fit into, put some paper towels under warm water, squeeze the water out of them, then put them in the container. Also forgot to add to cut a hole in the container so the snake can get in it. I would recommend changing the paper towels once a day.

You can spray the substrate and the sides of the the tub when in shed. You don't have to go crazy as he should shed fine if it's just a bit higher than usual. In tubs I honestly spray the tub down once when they are in blue and I never have a bad shed.
