How long can a redtail boa live in a 40 gallon breeder tank ????? Roughly asking only because i just recently obtained a 40 gallon Breeder and my uncle is making me a nice stand for my apartment. I have # ball pythons in a rack but I want something for a little display in the living room and im ready for something bigger than a BP

I would say around 4-5 foot. Anything after that I would upgrade. Due to having hides and waterbowl and such. Though I would rather see pictures of the tank to make sure it's long enough.

The rule that most people use is add the length and width of the tank. So if the floor of your tank measures 36" x 18" then your snake can hit 54" before an up grade is needed. Some people also recommend 1 square foot of floor space per 1 foot of snake....
