Question about axanthics
Do axanthics typically have a clear belly or do they have some patterning on it? I ask because I just picked up a ball that I think may be one. I'm trying to find the camera cord right now and will post pics when I find it.

Ummmmmmmm I'm pretty sure getting an axanthic confused with ANYTHING is impossible

Aside from axanthic with another morph in there nothing else looks like them.

Here are some pics of the snake in question. In the 2 pics with 2 snakes he is the smaller darker one in with a normal. And in the last one his belly is like that 100% all the way down.

I don't know... He looks too yellow to be an Axanthic to me.

P.S. You should really try to quarantine any new animals.. :)

It is in qt that was just for the photo for 10 seconds. And he has no yellow on him whatsoever. I guess it's one of those you have to see in person kind of things?

just to let you know, you completely broke your quarantine by introducing him to your other animals, even if it "was just for 10 seconds"..

In the photo he does appear pretty yellow.

If he has mites, your other snake is now going to be crawling with them.

And the tan/brown on his back is probably due to yellow pigment. He's a pretty looking normal.

Re: Question about axanthics
First things first,
Is this your snake? A: NO
Is it your place to tell me about my animals? B: NO
Am I sending these snakes to you? C: NO
Why is it that you just cannot reply with a simple answer about the question asked. I am not new to this and for those who know me and have seen my collection know I take very good care of my animals. Now unless you have a reasonable response to my question, leave my hunbandry out of your responses!!

Thanks to those however who replied positively.
Have a good one.:D

Re: Question about axanthics
In my experience, Axanthics will not have a clear belly like most pattern morphs. Axanthics are simply lacking in yellow pigment, meaning pattern does not change. But of course, you can still get clear bellied normals.
