If it is just because of the rain then I would put a small fan outside the tub to help circulate the air better.

Thanks. That was what I was kind of thinking, at least until I can get some consistent readings. I was reading on another forum about tub set-up and they said if you have too many hole to just tape some up. I was thinking if you did this, isn't there a chance of you snake accidentally flicking their tongue into one of the holes and getting it stuck to the backside of the tape? I would think taping a small piece of plastic bag or something over the holes would be better...

Let the tub sit for another day or two to see how it adjusts. If you do add in more holes add them on both sides so you get a nice flow through ventilation.
