    oil based polyeurathane
    i just finished building a displayer for my ball pythons for the upcoming reptile show here, and i painted it a matte black using rustoleums paint-for-anything style paint... and i've applied two coats of spray on oil based polyeurathane. I'm planning to leave the displayer in the shed for the rest of the month to allow it to air out...

    but i'm wondering, have i made a big mistake using an oil based? i just thought it would be more durable and allow me to sanitize the displayer more thoroughly. the snakes will only be in it for a few hours, and i have put ventilation holes along one side...

    help! :confused::please:
