Unknown problem

I think something is wrong with my beardie, he was kinfa slugish refusing to eat, etc. I guess i fixed that because he is a lot more active eating great, but he recently gave a weird mint colored poo heres a picture

Thats a strange color isnt it...

First, id get him off the sand.

Secondly,

can you tell us everything you feel him ( Pellets maybe?)

and what kind of uvb do you use, along with his basking spot temp.

The a bizzare color.

I feed him kale, strawberries, Zilla fortified bearded dragon food, nature zone beardie bites. His basking temps are around 100, i use Zoo Med 100 watt sunglow( im prett sure thats what its called, threw away the box)

I have never fed my dragons pellets of any kind......therefore I cannot comment on that. However, I believe that it is good to give your beardie a variety in his/her diet. Kale, in my opinion, should be fed on an occasional basis. The better staple greens are mustard greens, collard greens, turnip greens, endive, and escorle just to name a few. Other greens that can be fed are parsely, bok choy, kale, and swiss chard. Other staple veggies that you can use to top off your dragon's salad are butternyt squash, zuccini squash, yellow squash, strawberries, rasberries, some frozen mixed veggies, just to name a few.

As far as the temps go I would raise your basking temp to 105 degrees. Personally, I use a Mega Ray UVB light that provides heat as well as UVB. I understand that the Reptisun 10.0 UVB tubes are good as well. I am not familiar with your light system that you have. I do agree that the sand should be taken out of the tank. Although the sand looks cool to the eye it is not worth all the potential problems that it can cause. It is very dusty and can create impaction as well. Personally, I like to use ceramic tile. It comes in a variety of colors and can be cleaned thoroughly and will last forever.

Can't comment on the poop as I don't have a clue what that could be. I am not bashing your setup I am just giving you other options that have worked well for me.

It's the kale. Feeding dark greens will tint poo. Go ahead and eat some kale salad for a day or two, you'll see. ;)

Feeding chart. Go easy on the fruits. Stick with leafy greens mainly. And insects dusted with a little calcium powder.

What age? Younger beardies need more bugs than greens and older beardies need more greens than bugs.

Regular soakings definately help too.
