    K ive got a new pastel, he weighs about 1100gm. we have had him for about three weeks and he wont eat. he will strike and follow and tonight he even killed one but just wont eat it. a few days ago he had a coughing spell that lasted a few hours so we checked him for RI and came up with nothing. he has not acted up since and still no signs of RI. whats up with him any help and appriciated.

    Maybe he's trying to get ready to breed? There was another thread that Lolo76 made here where it was suggested that her snake wasn't eating due to getting ready to breed.

    I was kinda thinking that, this will be our first year breeding and he is a provin breeder so i guess its possable already. But i would like to see him eat just once uno. got up this morning and checked on the rat he killed last night and it was still dead (lol) and still in his tub:( well ill keep offereing to him hopfull he will eat on of these feedings. at least this week he attacked it in the past weeks he just hid from it. thanks Elise.m for your reply.
