    Growths
Note: I posted this in the correct forum also but I am not getting alot of views there and want to make sure this isn't something that could affect my snakes.

I first noted these growths starting to grow on one of my rats ears about 3 weeks ago now. I wasn't worried until I found the first small growth on the ear of another rat today.

Any body know what these are? I have tryed researching the subject and the only thing I have come up with is that they could be caused by a rare form of rat mites.

Anybody know for sure what these could be and how I can treat them?
They are sort of fingerlike growths and there are a few more than it seems from the photo.

Let me know if more clear pictures are required to diagnose. I can work on getting some if necessary.

I think sarcoptes mange mites are really the most likely thing here, as the only other thing I can find that would cause growths like that is polyps - and the chances of multiple rats getting tumours all at once are slim to none. I'd take them to a vet.
