    Keeping asf rats in the same room as bps
    will it mess up the bps feeding habits up if i keep a tank of asf rats in the same room as my bps :confused:

    I don't do it, but then I have Retics in the snake room too. :O
    With the feeding response of larger Boids, it's a big no-no.

    Not the greatest idea, but it really depends on the size of the room and if you keep the rats and their enclosures immaculately clean and odor free at all times so you are not constantly teasing your snakes with the scent of rodent always in the air close to them.

    Many people here on the fourms keep mice/rats/ASF in the same room as their BP's. I don't believe it is a problem at all.

    I have 4 breeding quads of ASF's in the same room with 13 snakes. They all eat just fine. When i go to handle the smaller snakes they will be a bit nippy till i pick them up.

    right now i have roughly 20 rats and maybe 70 mice in there i dont have problems and many of my snakes will eat f/t without heating them up

    I have a VERY small animal room and breed rats, ASF's, and button quail. All of my reptiles (mostly snakes) are in the same room and I have no issues at all.
