Putting holes in tubs

So i have my tubs setup with no holes. And i understand that my humidity might be slightly high. So my question is what tool do you guys use to make perfect holes so it doesn't have rough edges?

I use a soldering iron to melt perfect holes in my tubs...

lol... the first tub I "drilled" I heated up a old "L" key in the stove, grabed it with pincers and burned the holes with it. I looked like a ghetto medieval blacksmith. :D

I bought later a hot glue gun for $5~ at home depot and took of the rubber tip. I hear there are pretty cheap soldering Irons at walmart though.

By merely rubbing my fingers together, firmly and with gusto, by the friction created thusly, I can generate enough heat to need no other tool to adequately ventilate any container needing adequate ventilation.

I 1st make a template using thin cardboard or thick paper, then using a hole punch, punch out holes on the template. Then hold the template up to the tub and mark each hole with a Sharpie.

Take the tub outside in a well ventilated area to melt the holes. The fumes smell bad and are toxic so do it up wind.
Then using a cheap soldering iron, like this http://www.amazon.com/Mastech-Watts-...1906802&sr=8-7 that you can buy from a local hardware store for around $9 or less, melt out each hole.

even though people say not too, i drilled my holes with a drill bit suprisingly it didnt leave me with any rough edges or anything, but i did make bigger holes

Would it be okay to cut or poke the holes with something then burn them to smooth the edges?

You'd have to have pretty big holes to be able to burn the edges smooth. A solder wand is $10 or less at Walmart, and easy peasy!

I drill mine with a drill and drill bit drill slow pushing in and out and it will be smooth

i used a drill with a pretty big bit, filed down any roughness, and then melted anything that was really stubborn. they actually turned out really really nicely and looked like the tub was supposed to be that way.
