im on the fence also. i like the bhb chocolates, but i also like the sables. if they are really the same i couldnt condone spending 500 on the chocolate when you can get sables for around 300.
also from all the pics i have seen the chocolate super looks a little cleaner and slightly different, but then again it could just be age or lighting:confuzd:

I think they are seperate morphs based on how the super choc. looks a bit different than the super sable. That is why I opted to pick up a few chocolates and not sables. Similar looking, but not the same. Even if you bred them together and produced a super, it would be like breeding a mojave to a lesser and getting a bel. Would you call a lesser and mojave the same morph?

it would be better to compare them to how the cinny/blackpastel are

Well, I'm lucky enough to be trading for a female Chocolate, but as she's an '09 I've another year or so to get a male. I want to do a Camo-esque project, but would like to compare the two morphs in more detail. I have a good line on a Choco Pin for next year- hopefully by then more folks will have produced the sable pins & post more pics.
I'm ok with paying a bit more if it's worth while- ultimately the most costly thing about owning a snake is the life-time care; at least at the price ranges I mostly deal in.
