Heat Pack Question.....Help!
Hey all,
I am shipping a snake out later (5pm Pac) today in about an hour and need some tips.
1. I am shipping from So Cal and it is about 90 here today cooling down to about low 80's/upper 70's at night.
2. I am shipping to Vermont where it will be a low of 42 degrees over the night/early morning.
What would you do? Heat pack or no?
Thanks a lot!
Chris

I would do a heat pack with a hole through the box and styro on each side (pen or screwdriver).

awesome, thanks for the tip! it gets a bit dicey when both ends of the trip are at extremes...

Well on your end it's unlikely that the snake will be out in the heat (assuming you are dropping it at the hub). However, tomorrow AM it will be on a truck in the cold. In my opinion you need the heat pack for that leg of the trip. I like to put a hold in the box and styro on 2 sides anyway to keep the heat from building up. You want to just warm the air inside the box, not create a sauna. Good luck!
