I just had my first clutch of Ball Pythons hatch and one little girl has me a bit stumped. I bred a Black Pastel x Pastel, this is the females first year of breeding and she was only bred to the Black Pastel. The Clutch consisted of six eggs. 1.1 Black Pastels, 0.2 Pastels, 1.0 Normal and 1 unknown sex and morph. She just crawled out this morning, so I haven't sexed her. Anyway, she looks more like a Super Pastel than anything, but that would be quite impossible. So, I'm thinking maybe she's just a bright Black Pewter.
Maybe I'm just confused because this is my first clutch of morphs, and I haven't seen a whole lot of pictures of Black Pewters out of the egg.
Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks so much for the time!
