Spider BP stressed?

    Spider BP stressed?
    Hey guys...i have a problem i hardly ever se my BP in his hide .. hes either roaming or laying on his tree or in the middle of his tub...his temps are spot on he has two identical hides on cool and warm side and one in the middle he has a water bowl and crumpled newspaper and moss in his tub also could it be just because hes only been there for a few days? thanks guys

    Usually when a snake is new to it's environment it roams around for the first few days to a week then it will start hiding more often and coming out at night. I'm guessing your's is just roaming around and getting used to the new surroundings.

    Thanks also i tried feeding him today and he struck at the fuzzy twice and missed both times after that he seemed to have lost interest is this normal thanks !

    You should give him a week to settle in. Sounds like he is a little stressed. just let him chill for a week and get used to the new digs.

    Ya I agree with West Coast Jungle, just let the snake settle in for a week, no handling or nothing, then try to feed it and handle it.

    Well i guess its normal if u see the other thread that coolio tiffany posted in general BP he does a lot of what that spinner BP was doing and he also seems to get caught in his own body ...kinda lke getting tied in a knot xD
