    Learning genetics in science!
The first thing we are learning is genetics and we've been on this topic for a week or so. So far I've guessed many of the outcomes since I've been trying to get my genetics for BPs down lol! Though, I do have a question.

If a recessive trait is combined with another (ex: Axanthic x Axanthic), will all the offspring be that recessive trait?

That's the part I kinda got confused on. Wouldn't only some or half of the offspring be the recessive trait and the others are a dominant trait het. the recessive trait? But when I think about that, the recessive trait wasn't het. for a dominant trait since that is not possible, so the offspring would be all the recessive trait?

I got confused thinking about this, and hopefully I made it clear lol.

Though, I think this science activity is fun because I really want to learn genetics since I will be breeding BPs in the future :].

Uhhh... yess. If it was say two different recessives, such as axanthic to albino, the offspring will be double-recessive.

I'm not positive but i'm pretty sure that this is what will happen50% of the babies will be axanthic and 50% will be 100% het axanthic.

Yeah and you'd be wrong. Visual Recessive x Visual Recessive=Visual Recessive.
