Help, what is this thingy on his eye?
Whats near his eye? I just got this guy last week, I noticed it but it didn't seem out of the ordinary.. but I haven't seen it on any other BPs, and it is only on one side.

I'm not pointing to it, I'm just petting him :)

Thank you for any help.

Order soem Provent a mite and that tick will die pretty fast. I wouldnt suggest taking it off on your own as tick head can still live and dig further in without the body.

Dang I got him from the shop with a tick on his eye?!
Re: Help, what is this thingy on his eye?
the tick could of came in form the bedding. But do not take it back as the tick can be cured with Provent a Mite. Which will kill all the eggs layed in the tub if it has done so. its a must have treatment when keeping reptiles.

Re: Help, what is this thingy on his eye?
As far as I know ticks are rarely found on cb animals. Generally an issue with imports, unless it came from being near other animals with ticks. Not sure how Reptile Relief would help as I've never used it, but it can be picked up at most pet stores and can be put directly on the snake. PAM would take care of any eggs there could be. Maybe someone with some tick experience will chime in for you.
Good luck.

I removed the tick, it wasn't in very deep.. I'm going to purchase some of that stuff for his bedding and everything, thanks for your help!
