    Mealworm Colonly Update
Well yesterday I was putting some newly emerged beetles in with the others and I saw what looked like a mealworm's shed skin but it was teeny teeny! So I start digging around in the food/bedding and sure enough I have teeny mealies! I'm not sure how many there are but I have at least 20 beetles in there now, so I'm guessing a lot.

I just added a bunch of mealworms to the worm drawer (around 100 or more) so I'm hoping for more pupa soon. :)

It is really cool because that means I am on my way to producing my own food for my gecko. Since I hope to start breeding leopard geckos in a year or two, I will need a good colony going so I have feeders for all my breeders and all the babies. :) With as well as they are doing, I'm thinking of moving the colony into a larger 3-drawer unit.
