    I know you can just peel off and stick it to the tank, but is there a less permanent way...Can I just tape it to the bottom with tape?

    I like putting aluminum foil around my UTH and attaching with tape. The foil seems to keep the temp a little lower and makes it a lot easier to keep temps in the proper range with my less than stellar thermostat. I have my ball in a tub on one of those metal shelves you can buy and assemble yourself with the UTH taped to the shelf. This makes it much easier to pull the tub out for cleaning/whatever.
