OMG have you seen the new commercial??

For those of you who keep up with the USARK forums, last month a new update was posted about the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). How they are the enemy and not directly connected to our own local HS offices we have in many of the cities in the US. The point of this post is the commercial i saw on TV this morning.. While watching animal planet i saw a commercial where they showed horrible images of dogs & cats that were abused, neglected, abandoned, injured etc.. Each time the screen changed to a new animal it had a little caption saying something like "what did i do" "will i die today" "why did they abandon me"

I was actually feeling very sad seeing this... That is until the end where it finally advertised that it was a commercial for the HSUS. Talking about how these animals need your help and to donate and become a member...

After reading the post on USARK and having my eyes opened about their true cause, (too similer to PETA) i was immediately very angry and disappointed to know that so many people would see it and donate to them thinking they are helping an animal...

Its a horrible commercial that does and will pull on the heartstrings of animal lovers. I can only hope more people will spread the word about their intentions. Please go to USARK's forum and educate yourself on what im talking about. Then if you see this commercial on TV i hope you will be just as bothered by it. Especially after all we had to do recently to stop the passing of all these HR bills..

I get angry every time I see that commercial. If only USARK or something could make a commercial about the truth and have a website on the commerical that lead to a site that in more depth discussed the truth about the HSUS and PETA.

Thats a great idea. Problem is. USARK is funded by "you & I". They are clearly telling us that they cannot continue this fight against the HR bills unless they get more members. They are coming in so fast and USARK tries to be right there in person when these things come about. Its an expensive fight. I wish more herp supply companies would offer donations to USARK of a percentage of the sales made. Plus more of us need to join their cause. Maybe they will eventually be able to have their own commercial expressing the importance of educating the public & the work they do.

They wouldnt make anything bashing the USHS on public TV though.. That would make them look bad. But they do continue to let us know the truth through their forums. Im sure if there is a way to discourage people from believing things like this commercial, they are working on it. We hope.

You people in the USA do have a fight on your hands. It is unfortunate... They might as well ban horses and dogs, cats.... etc...

Oh believe me... We have plenty of groups trying to ban all animals as pets here. It is unfortunate. Its also sickening to see the extent some of these groups will go to just to try to get people on their side. Our country is full of liars and naieve people who believe every word they say.

they did one on PETA, **video removed for inappropriate language**

they did a show on PETA exposing the propaganda that PETA puts out.

I bet a lot of pet owners are sending them money, thinking they're helping animals. In reality , if the organization gets its way those same people will have to give up their pets.

I also can't stand those vegans who try to push their ways on you, or give you that look of disgust when you eat meat.

at 5:33 of part 3 , they talk about the VP of PETA who's a diabetic and needs insulin, its funny that she doesn't see herself as a hypocrite because its exactly what she is.

Teller even found her picture in the dictionary, lol.:D

Yes but now were finding that the USHS is just as bad.. They both promote euthenasia of animals. They both use a much higher percentage of their donations to pay for advertising and their own payroll, than they do to actually "help" animals. They both are secretly against having animals as pets at all.

This doesnt mean our own local humane societies tho.. The actual no-kill shelters we all have somewhere near us in the USA. The USHS uses the same name but they have completely different motives. Both Peta & USHS are a threat to any pet owners but especially herps owners since they consider just about every herp an exotic even if its native and CBH.

I bet those two "organizations" are somehow connected. That they work together.
