Went Crazy - 4 New BPs (duw)
Well, sometimes you just do. Go a little crazy, ya know?
A few weeks ago I purchased an awesome couple of adults from a nice breeder in Texas. The male is a proven breeder, a yellowbelly who's also possibly het for caramel. He hasn't been bred to any females with caramel in them, so we're hoping to prove him out with the girl we purchased with him, an older, dark female who's also possibly het for caramel. We're calling them Phantom Limb and Princess Tinyfeet:
(Have I mentioned lately that yellowbelly's my favorite morph?)

And Tinyfeet:

Turns out they were both deep in shed, and I didn't even know it. I came home the other night from the reptile show in Wilsonville, and WHOA. Phantom Limb is a STUD. So naturally I took them outside today for a few quick shots, although Tinyfeet wouldn't sit still:

I'm SO excited about pairing these two up, I'm hoping for a few gorgeous little female yellowbellies! *crosses fingers for caramels for that matter too* :please:
So we also went to the reptile show in Wilsonville, OR, as I mentioned, and we swore up and down that we weren't coming home with *ANYTHING* but we all know how that goes...
I finally got another mojave. This one's a nice, pale, proven boy. He came with the name Victor, and we're going to keep it. He looks like a Victor!

I'd been looking around for a het red female, but didn't expect to find anything more than a little '09, and REALLY didn't expect my husband to let me actually buy one, but I met a really nice lady who was downsizing her collection and offered to sell me an early '08 female that I utterly fell in love with. She's from the Woods-line, produced by Northwest Zoological, genetics guaranteed and all that fun stuff. :P We're calling her Natasha. She's SUPER hard to photograph, but she's totally unreal in person!

She won't be ready to go until next year at the earliest, but she's a BIG girl already! Apparently she really likes her rats. (Thank goodness, lol)

People like yellowbellys alot for the combo potential. Thats a big reason why I like them. The colors are alot different from a normal though, unless it is a very poor example of the morph.... same thing with like a pastel.

Very nice looking snakes!

Congrats on the new additions!

I agree it is a big differnce in my Ybs and my normals. Even the hatchlings i produced this year were alot brighter yellow. YBs clean up other morphs kind of like the fire.
